When you rent a car, don't get ripped off by being charged for an additional driver's fee. If the additional driver is your spouse or domestic partner, you don't have to pay for that. When I rented a car a few weeks back, I saw $10 additional driver's fee ( x2days = $20 ), and I asked a guy at the counter, they insisted we had to pay for that. After returning the car, I researched about this fee, and found out I didn't have to pay. I called the rental car shop, and got $26 back! I am not sure where this extra $6 came from, but hey getting back more $$$ is better! Don't get ripped off.
